Hi David,

This is a reminder that any existing Location History data you have in your Google Account will be deleted on September 1, 2022.

If you’d like to keep this data before it’s deleted on September 1, 2022, you have two options: Turn on Location History in Activity controls. This will keep your data in your Google Account. Download a copy of this data.

About Location History Location History lets you create a Timeline, a personal map of your visited places and routes. Timeline data can also be used to give you More personalized experiences across Google, such as suggested destinations on Google Maps and Android Auto. More useful ads on Google and other places Google ads may appear, such as websites or apps.

To learn more about Location History, visit the Help Center.

I assume this Is history only. Not saves places.

You can turn this "feature" off and you can eliminate your tracking history. However, Google isn't the only one tracking you. Anyone with deep enough pockets that wants to know someone's whereabouts can track anyone.

The NSA is storing everything that you do and whatever goes on in your life in that monumentally huge data center in Utah. Up until now, if nobody cares enough about your shite to go look at the data, good for you.

Don't ever attract attention to yourself, negatively speaking. Unless you're squeaky clean, and let's face it. You're here on TD. You're dirty. Somewhere. Or you're a Saint. Doubtful, but, okay, I'm just being cynical for a moment. As I was saying, the best you can do is hope you never have someone really interested in your business.

Anyway, to the NSA goon that eventually winds up checking out this post.... Well, this is for you.
