Google home control

I have a few Google home minis and several light switches that work off of the smart life app as well as a nest thermostat. I use a pixel 2. When I go into my Google home app it recently updated to have a dashboard of sorts that allows me to toggle the switches as well as control the thermostat.
My wife uses an iPhone 6 s. When she goes into her Google home app, it shows our shared home group. It has all of the switches, home minis, and the thermostat present, but it does not give her any option to toggle on and off.
Anyone encounter this problem, or have any ideas what I need to do to allow her to control these devices?

The switches.
Like our bedroom lights are WiFi switches. When I go into the Google home app on Android, I have the option to turn the lights on and off, but when she opens the app on iOS, it just shows that the switches are online, but she has no option to turn on and off

Maybe make sure the lights are linked to her account she is signed in with.

They are, and when she opens the app it shows all the different switches, there is just no option to turn on or off
