Google home automation scripting (or any other tool that might work)

Ok, here’s my goal: utilize my Philips hue door sensors that are exposed to google home so that whenever the front door is opened from 12:15am to 6am, it sends a notification and shows the front door camera.
For whatever reason, the door sensor alert is triggering the notification just fine. It just REFUSES to show the front door camera.
However, if I sit right next to any of the google home hubs and send it the same trigger phrase, works like a god damn charm.
Help?
Pasting sucks, had to do a SS:

I use frigate and home assistant do to similar things. Seems even easier to say person at or near door and get alert that way.
Doorbell cams have bad distance awareness due to their height but maybe say if person dimensions are greater than 200 pixels or something. If camera is elevated, you can use use zone.

I'm a home assistant whore through and through
You'll spend way more time tinkering with setting it up than setting the automation

Can HA do those type automations?
Might need to delve into it. I’ll ChatGPT whatever I need.
Sure it’s yet another damn hub but if I can get this to work, huge win!

HA is the only “Hub” you ever need. You just have to buy devices that you actually own instead of those locked to manufacturer services.
They still have cloud integrations for most of those locked devices too though, but not all.
I hated HA a few months ago and now it’s the best thing ever. I’ll still do more involved notifications on node red but if xxx at time yyy then notify.iPhone is just one step in HA.
If you have an old laptop lying around, it’s free.

So I’ve done 10 mins of research but should I go:
HA Green
HA Yellow
Probably not going any further than that as I don’t have hundreds of hours to raspberry pi and mod this bitch out.

I’d do free first. Find an old laptop or something and make a bootable thumb drive to install HAOS. Surely there’s a retired one in your garage or something.
You’ll need either a home assistant $5 / month cloud service or fire up Nginx proxy manager and ddclient right from home assistant to get https access and get mobile notifications. Probably need to reserve a local IP from your router for the HA machine also but that’s about it. After that it’s pulling in devices and automating.
