If you order thru your Google Fi account and use Google finance, the cost comes to zero if you stay on Fi for 24 months. You do pay the taxes

It's T-Mobile towers in most places. If no coverage it would switch to different towers. No throttling. I've had it a few years now and it has been excellent.
