Any of you have it? Is it better than traditional ATT? Trying to decide whether I want to go through the hassle of swapping.

Gotcha. Anyone know how it compares to regular att service? I was told you won’t lose service in large crowds and such like I currently do with att.

In theory you will have priority service above everyone else in a large crowd. (Ex. A police officer friend ran his Firestick off of his phone on Campus before LSU/Florida 2019)

However as stated above if the towers go down like in the case of the Houma/Morgan City area during Ida you are screwed.

But then again after Laura ATT was the only damn thing that worked in Lake Charles so its kind of just the luck of the draw I guess

Thanks. So if ATT towers go down you’re out of service as you would be with regular att but if towers are up and running, you get better service. Seems like a good deal for the price.

Exactly now the bonus is that after a disaster ATT will bring a mobile tower into the area or hell even a blimp that only the FN Sims cards will work with.

I would def do it

We have FirstNet and see in some places that FirstNet works but ATT does not. I think I remember from the sales pitch they said there are some FirstNet towers in low population areas so first responders have service. Its luck of the draw when the hurricanes comes who equipment gets effected the most. When we left Verizon our rep said they are letting a lot of people on FirstNet and thinks it is will be over saturated soon and be just like regular ATT service.

Went through a JRTC rotation at Fort Polk in 2019. There were about 4k people on one tower. At the time, I had standard AT&T and was unable to watch any videos. One of my team leaders had FirstNet and was watching Netflix and YouTube.

I now have it and have not had any issues. I would definitely get it if its available to you.
