FireTV or Receiver Audio Buffering Issue

I've been having an issue with my audio randomly getting distorted primarily when watching netflix on my FireTv. The best way I can describe it is a robotic two tone rhythm that cuts in and out with normal audio. I don't think this is strictly a buffering issue since I think I've heard it when I was on the menu screen, but the sound is rarely constant on the menu screen so its hard to tell. I have the FireTv going directly into the TV then sending the audio to my receiver using the HDMI ARC. Anyone had any similar issues?
Thanks in advance!

If your receiver has pass through, you're doing it backwards. Send the FireTV signal to the audio receiver then output the signal to your tv. Should solve the problem.
