Looking on how to fix it. Read online that it could be insufficient power but I have used my PS3 to power it for the past 6 months without a single issue and all of a sudden it's not working. Would be a pain to have to run it to a wall outlet. TIA for any help

I've had the same issue with my Fire Stick, and it only happens every now and then. I run it from TV USB and it works fine 99% of the time, and then one day it boot loops. Plugging into AC adapter fixes the problem, and then I can run it from USB again. Haven't looked into why this happens, and my only theory is that it gets finicky about the power source during certain types of updates (OS or firmware).

Any idea for what to do when it continues to do it even when it is plugged into the proper power supply source? Can get past the main screen. Just keep rebooting

Also, Amazon support was terrible. The lady told me to unplug it and plug it back in and when that didn't work she offer me a $4 discount on a new one...

Yeah... sorry, no idea why it continues to boot loop. If it's not rooted or anything, there's nothing else you can do as far as I know.

Same thing happened to me. Once I started plugging it into the wall, the reboot stopped. Sometimes, the TV power isn't enough. It needs more power that only the outlet can give. Since, it has worked Perfectly.

It does have something to do with the power cord you using.

Do you have any others that have the similar type of input? I would try another if you did.. Otherwise you probably do need to plug it into an outlet somehow.

Hope you figure it out. You could always seek some sort of technical support with Amazon I would imagine.

Mine isn't working at all right now. I had to unplug it several times yesterday to get it to work. Now I get nothing.

Yeah. I think mine is just done. I have tried for several days with different power sources and cords. Just sucks that they have a 1 year warranty and this happened 13 months after I bought it

Maybe it was just nervous.

Firestick must be plugged directly into TV.
Not thru HDMI switch.
