Anyone have one of these? How do you get it to zero out on the x and y axis? Also, how do you get the plate to be perfectly level? Thanks.

There are stops on the x and y for homing. In the menu there should be a "home" option. For leveling advice just Google "ender 3 bed level" or similar phrase and you should be flooded with more info than you could ever consume in a single lifetime.
I will caution, if you are here asking these basic questions and unable to figure them out on your own you are going to probably have a bad time with that printer, or 3d printing in general.

there are stop switches
X stop switch is on the left hand side of the X gantry
Y stop switch is on the back of the Y rail
Z stop switch is on the bottom left Z (vertical rail)
yeah, if you don't see these switches, you're not going to be having a good time. they're pretty obvious.
to "zero" them out, you need to "Home" the hot-end. should be a function within the printer's display.
as far as leveling, that's a different animal. depends on the setup.
do you have a BL-Touch or CR-Touch?
probably not as that's an add-on and i doubt you're familiar enough with it.
i suggest looking up CHEP or Bryan Vines on YouTube and getting a crash course on the basics.

Welcome to the world of modifying 3D printers lol.
X & Y should have endstops preconfigured to home. Basic ender 3 will also have a z-end stop and you will have to manually level bed using screws under corners of the bed. Should be plenty of videos on how to do that online.
First upgrade I did to mine was added a BLTouch for automatic bed “leveling”. It’s not too complicated to add. CRtouch is same thing just by Creality. It’s a probe mounted to the hotend carriage that probes the bed across a predefined amount of points. Will probably need to upgrade firmware as well, which isn’t too hard either. I haven’t messed with an ender in a long time though so not sure how they come set up these days.
I ended up making so many modifications to mine (linear rails, extruder, hotend, controller), so it’s basically a completely different printer now minus the frame lol. Then I ended up buying a Bambu X1.
They can be great printers though.

I have the E3-V2. As all have said, make sure your homing switches are set at the proper height/place. Tons of videos on this. I run marlin firmware with manual mesh bed leveling. Multitude of hacks, upgrades etc. It was my first printer. Its not an out of the box everything works perfect setup. Its a budget printer for someone who likes to tinker and learn. Once you get it dialed in, it prints really well.

I’ve got an Ender 3 V2 as well and have it dialed in and working very well. Unless you enjoy the long process of getting it dialed in (I also replaced several parts), it’s going to be a headache.
For anyone wanting something working out of the box, Prusa or Bambu Labs are the way to go.

What are you typically printing?

I do alot of work on large center console boats on the side. Mainly electrical but also other stuff.
Print a lot of mounting brackets, panels, router jigs, stuff like that. Mainly PETG or ASA depending on where it’s going.
It truly is a click and print printer. Rarely have to mess with it and always get clean prints. It’s pretty quick too.
Also 3D printed a scale model of our boat too
