How do I bulk transfer all the photos in an iMessage ?

In my phone, I have 3272 pictures sent between my wife and all, and I want to download them all easily

I haven't tried this method but it should work for grabbing them from your iPhone. I've used a PC application to do something similar in the past. Basically, an iTunes iPhone backup creates a bunch of unorganized files and folders on your mac. This script extracts it from the backup folders and makes it easier to find. Again, I haven't tried this and would use it at your own risk. There may be a third party application that would accomplish the same thing.

For your iMessage images, check this out. There are also some apps in the comments.

Open up image capture on your mac (it comes as a standard program)
Click the name of your phone on the left toolbar
Then down in the bottom right corner select import all.
Pick a destination to save them, then click import.

Dr Fone is the bomb. Seriously.

My phone crapped out and Dr Fone was able to extract literally everything from my backup. Great customer service as well. All photos and messages.

On your phone go to her message thread and hit the info button in the top right corner. This will show you all the photos in the thread. Long press on one of the pics and select 'more'. You can then select all of the pics you want to save. Save them to your phone and then you can transfer them out of photos like you would normally.
