Does Your Smart TV "Lose" Apps?

I have a 65" Samsung TV in my living room. I use YouTube TV and YouTube all the time. The apps are installed on the "Home" screen of the TV. But every couple of weeks, these oft-used apps just disappear - Both at the same time. My wife's Hulu and Netflix apps are rock solid, the other apps stay put too. It's just the YouTube apps. Its like Samsung hates YTand just makes them go away out of spite. Anybody else see this?

Eventually apps on your TV will be completely deprecated. Also Smart TVs are a privacy nightmare.
Get a Roku for apps, forget Smart TVs.

My parents' Samsung TV deleted the YouTube app the other day. I had to redownload it for them. Was odd
