To cancel your $0.99 (50 GB) Apple storage plan, you need to downgrade your account to the free 5GB tier. On your iPhone, go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Change Storage Plan > Downgrade Options, select the Free (5 GB) plan, enter your password, and tap Done. [1, 2, 3]

Important Things to Note
• Effective Date: The cancellation and downgrade will take effect after your current subscription billing period ends.
• Storage Limits: Make sure you download or remove content exceeding the 5GB free limit before the plan takes effect. Otherwise, your iCloud will stop syncing new photos, files, and backups until your storage is under the 5GB limit.
• Via Web: You can also submit a cancellation/refund request by visiting the official Apple Report a Problem site if you don't have an active Apple device on hand. [9]
