Does anyone else have a pixel 2 that takes forever to charge

Seems like an hour worth of charging only yields 50% full battery.

Does it say it is fast charging at the bottom or in the notification panel?
If not, buy a new adapter. 18 watt is the Google standard one, but the phone supports 27 watt adapters for even faster charging.

Clean out the charging port. I used a toothpick, but there are videos to guide you through it on youtube

No, Googles fast charging is not proprietary.
That's why it supports 27 watt chargers despite the stock Google one being 18 watts.

I have issues with the pixels charge port and the usb-c cables. You have to clean it out regularly and replace cables every now and then. Even still some cables will not make a good connection and if the other end of the charging cable is not usb-c then it's going to be a slower charge.
