I have signed up to be a beta tester for this new system. I have two orders for Starlink, but I am losing hope of getting it. Dish has installed some of their antennas on a tower less than a mile from me.

This is pretty interesting! Dish has been promising another large scale network for a minute now. I hope you keep us posted on how this works out.

About time. Charlie has been talking about this for 15 years. Their stock has gone to shite. Need this to take off

If it ever takes off, it will be a while before they make a profit from it. The spectrum they're using to kick off their network isn't going to deliver the same type of speeds you will see with T-Mobile or Verizon's midband 5G.
There's going to be some pain and struggles, which is why they're being very open about having roaming agreements in place with AT&T at launch.

When T-Mobile puts me on an endless waiting list and Verizon just says no this is my only option beside Starlink which I don't think I will get this year even though they say I will. Once Starlink started sending more and more dishes to Ukraine the reports of orders being processed has dropped.

I worked for DISH for 10 years back in the early 2000s until 2012.
Back then Charlie and Carlson would tell us about the wireless plans. Charlie is almost 70 so im curious what his end game is.
I have lots of stock options that are tied up in my retirement and have gone to shite. Almost all my coworkers at the time cashed out when it was $60-80 a share. Its now at $29

It is widely believed that his end game was to simply squat on spectrum until either one of the big carriers bought him out or he could buy/merge with a carrier for the right price. His intention was never to create a 5th national carrier.
Charlie did make a move at Clearwire (which Sprint ended up buying) and then tried to buy Sprint before Softbank acquired them. The man is incredibly lucky that the government approved the merger between Sprint and T-Mobile that is giving him a springboard to launch a 4th carrier.

All I care about is the stock going up by the time I retire in 20 years
