well no, cancelling more bc I was told I would have abc, nbc, fox but all I have is NBC and its not on now bc of errors. I don't know man this is too many mistakes, when you launch a product kinks should be ironed out but its been a couple hours of it cutting in and out, combine that with the fact you cant reach a customer service agent I dont wanna be in

It is buffering a little for me. I am in and watching.

Buffering is going to be a no go with the wife.

Whatever you do DO NOT go to an authorized dealer and sign up. I should have known better but it was close and I called ahead to confirm I'd be able to get the Apple TV. They then told me after I was signed up for 3 months I'd get it in a week and the same thing would happen at a corporate store. That didn't sound right so I called corporate store and they said they'd have one for me if I came by.

Turns out I wouldn't have gotten my Apple TV at all if I wouldn't have called the corporate store because the dealer screwed up my order so bad.

And calling customer service does nothing, I talked to 5 different people over the course of the hour who couldn't even understand my problem because it's a new offering.

Lol you guys need to chill out. Give it time. It's working flawless on my end. No buffering. Nothing unusual. Depends on how you are streaming the service. If it's chromecast may God have mercy on your soul.

Yep. The corporate store was far but those authorized retailers are shady.

well I have had netflix and hulu for a couple years and never any issues. This product is just awful, I dont care if its the first day you cant even talk with anyone on the phone. I finally got to a supervisor now who is telling me I cannot even get a refund and its in the terms of service. I am at a loss now bc I didn't even sign anything, I called the ATT store by my house and the guy set up my account in under 5 minutes on the phone. He told me if I didn't like it I could cancel and get my money back and now the direct tv customer support is saying no and thats why I have access till march

Give it a couple days, both Sling and Vue had capacity issues at launch but fixed them pretty quickly. Slings main problem is their app was terrible on the Xbox and fire stick but worked very well on the Fire TV during the early days.

Lol! I am forced to give them 3 months.

I am sure they will get it straightened out quickly.

Here's a good channel comparison for each tier.

I tried WatchESPN earlier to check and it didn't allow me to select DirectTVNow as a provider and my login credentials didn't work when I selected DirectTV

DIRECTV now is not listed as an icon in WatchESPN, you have to scroll through the list

Guessing it's just a matter of ESPN updating their app to include directv now as a provider
