Delay in receiving voicemails

The last few weeks or so my voicemails are coming in many hours after being left. I’ve made sure everything is updated and constantly check when I have a missed call. I get so many spam calls daily, I depend on VM for someone who needs me. Anyone have any ideas what’s up or how to rectify? Thanks

Try putting yourself into airplane mode once a week, and then flipping back out of it a minute later. I had a horrid time with getting notifications about texts from certain sources (none Apple, all "regular" texts.) I turned off cellular, waited a minute, turned it back on, and wow, look at all of those authentication texts I didn't get for weeks come rolling in.
