Looking for one that does not require a cable to be plugged in the whole time. I don't mind bringing it in to charge

Do you have a powered rear view mirror? If so, you can buy an adapter to grab power from the mirror, super easy and no cords to route/hide.

Garmin Mini 2, hardwired into the dash fuse panel. 15 minute install and it will come on and go off every time you start and shut off the car.

Respectfully, you're going to get a shite camera if you want one that doesn't get plugged into at least a cigarette lighter. Quality will be borderline nonexistent.

We bought a Wolfbox camera from Amazon for Mrs. BTB. Camera is a wider rear view mirror that displays the front, back, and dual camera display. It goes over the existing rear view mirror. Car is also 10 years old and the cables are long enough to run through the headliner all the way to the back of her car, around some paneling, and plug into a trunk cigarette lighter. It's very easy to do. We have it wired to the reverse lights so that the camera turns on the rear view camera mode upon hitting reverse.

Again, I know you're asking for a rechargeable camera, but it will be a waste of money. I used this as an opportunity to "mod" a car since my previous vehicles didn't have capabilities for putting in aftermarket stereo, camera, etc.
