I'm looking at Blackfriday deals for a dash cam. Preference is for something kind of compact, at least 1080p, and micro SD card slot. My plan would be to hard wire it to my powered rearview mirror. It seems like there are a lot more features than when I looked a few years ago. Budget is $100-$150. I appreciate any recommendations

I got a Comesky off Amazon for $50 or so. Front and rear. Seems to do the trick. Only frustrating thing is the max storage for the mini sd card is 32gb.

CNET best dash cams

I have the Garmin Mini and it works great for what I need. No idea on the wiring to rear view mirror, that’s way above my tech expertise. It looks like Best Buy is selling them for $20 off today, $110 total. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I ended up ordering this one. There is a company called Dungar Technologies that makes an adapter that plugs into the rearview camera and then the rearview camera plug goes into the adapter.
