Have you had Consumer Cellular? I'm thinking about switching to them. What was/is your experience with them? I live way out in the country and get 2 bars with other providers. TIA

I have a friend in Ponchatoula that uses Consumer Cellular, and so far he, and his wife (no picks), are very happy with them. They switched from AT&T.

I switched from AT&T to Consumer Cellular 4 or 5 years ago and have been very happy. They use ATT towers so the coverage is the same. Any time I've gotten close to going over my data limit (10 gig in my case) they temporarily bump me to the next level up at no extra charge with the comment that "we see this is an unusual amount of data so the extra is free, if you need this additional data on an ongoing basis let us know".
I am, however, about to reluctantly switch my business phone to T-Mobile though because I have a new client in Canada and that would be a surcharge w/ Consumer Cellular but included w/ T-Mobile.

I've used them for 10 years with no complaints.
