Connection problems after installing SB6141

Just wondering if any of y'all have had experience with connection problems after installing the SB6141. I've got Cox Preferred HSI in Baton Rouge.
I bought a new SB6141 from Amazon and installed it on Friday. I noticed intermittent connection issues then (SpeedTest download speeds randomly dropping from about 32 Mbps to 1-2 Mbps), but went out of town and gave it the weekend hoping that a firmware push from Cox might fix the problem. Got back to BR today and noticed newer firmware had been installed, but I'm still having the same issue. I can get solid download speeds for up to about an hour after power cycling the modem, but I'll inevitably see the speeds drop at that point.
I've done all the standard fixes (power cycling modem and router, restarting computer, etc.) and used Cox's automated phone support to no avail. If any of y'all might have any insight, I'd appreciate it before I try calling Cox to speak to a live technician.

Did you speak with Cox technical support to have them setup the modem? They'll need the MAC address and serial number.

When I installed it on Friday, I was automatically rerouted to Cox's website. I put in my account info, and it took about 10-15 minutes for the modem to authenticate through their servers.
Had just gone about 2 hours without a hiccup, then experienced another drop in speed.

If Cox hadn't provisioned the modem, he wouldn't have internet at all, nor would he have received a firmware update.
Take some screenshots of your signal and logs at 192.168.100.1

Can't currently grab full-signal logs because I'm only getting a partial signal, even after a power cycle.

I have the same one
I needed to reboot the modem several times over the course of a few days
now, it just keeps goin like the energizer bunny.
no reboots since the initial few.

Signals look fine, but I immediately notice that your fourth downstream channel has what would be considered bare minimum Signal to Noise Ratio. Then I saw your signal stats for the fourth channel:
The log also shows a pretty distinct pattern, with the MDD timeouts/recoveries followed by you power cycling the modem.
Unfortunately, the most I can comment on is that it's likely something occurring in your line to the house or the modem itself. Or a splitter, maybe? Something is screwing up the data coming in on that channel, and the modem is probably working overtime to correct the errors. That's my non-expert opinion.

Thanks, y'all. I noticed the anomaly with the fourth channel as well.
Gave Cox a call again and spoke to a live tech. They did something on their end that briefly improved the numbers in the box you highlighted, briefly resulting in a better signal. While I was still on the call, the signal dropped out again.
We tried bypassing my router, and that resulted in a vast improvement (hitting 50-60 Mbps). So far, the direct connection seems to be stable, so it might be a router issue. Going to see how things are tomorrow. :-\

Having the same issue today, even with the direct connection. Looking like another call to Cox is in order.

Was this modem an upgrade, or new service? If your old modem was working, you might just have a bad modem. If the old modem had problems, someone needs to check the line to the house and in the attic.

Upgrade. I had an older Motorola Surfboard on the line previously that worked fine, so I'm leaning toward the faulty new modem angle as well.

My experience... I upgraded an SB5120 to an SB6121 with Cox and had problems - the first tech typed in the wrong s/n and the connection was very erratic. The second tech found the problem and the connection was then rock solid.
