Anyone have a nice 2.1 setup on their home or work computers. I am looking for a nice set for my work desk. I need something low profile, affordable with good sound.

I have the Bose Companion 2 speakers for my desktop @ work. Work great, wish I had something similar(but portable) for my work laptop…

If you want cheap:
Logitech Z313 2.1 speakers are decent. They're a little bass heavy, but sound surprisingly good for like $30-40
If you want cheap and versatile:
Logitech Z207 is a 2.0 set that has bluetooth connectivity if you don't want to deal with dongles and such.
They're like $40-60 and make great work speakers. (Won't be so bass heavy for a workspace.)
If you want better sound, you can go with the aforementioned Bose companions, but I think they typically run $100+.
