Combining mp4 with mp3

I have an MP4 video and MP3 audio that I want to combine due to the mp3 being a separate recording of the same event and better quality.
I was able to combine with Proshow Producer. The video/audio is about an hour long and they are obviously at slightly different speeds to were at the end they are several seconds off. Proshow allows changing the video speed, but only in 1% increments which isn’t fine enough.
Can anyone give recommendations for software that will let me combine and fine tune the speeds to align? I don’t mind spending a reasonable amount of money on software to do it.

Should be able to do this pretty easily with avidemux

Ok, thanks! I’ll check it out.

If there's an original audio track to the MP4, Adobe PremeirePro can automatically sync up both audio tracks.

Ok, that sounds good. Looks like it’s $30 a month. Don’t mind paying that if the first option doesn’t work.
