Had to put my laptop in shop. Get back Friday. I'm finding I can't survive until then on Ipad and BlackBerry.

I'm thinking of going to Best Buy and getting onnne of those cheap chromebooks. Bad idea? I use adobe Reader for pdf, word, and need to be able to scan docs into pdf. Those r my primary needs for a few days.

It is possible to accomplish all of those task with a Chromebook. You will need to be a little savvy and must realize that all of your processes will be different but I would not call it difficult.

Got a chromebook about a year ago. Haven't touched my home PC since.

We own three Chromebooks, whenever my 2012 PC fails, I'll go Chromebox.
