Cheap Tablet Recommendation

I'm looking to buy a tablet that is no more than $150. My current Acer tablet that I've had for over three years is not charging anymore. I just need one for surfing the net and different social media apps like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc....What would be a good option for me?

The 10" Amazon Fire tablet currently sells for $150 and is a decent tablet.

We’ve been pleased with the fire tablets. The OS is a little odd. I had a first edition and got used to that. Got another smaller one later and after some updates it was strange going back and forth between iOS on my phone and the Fire OS. The kids editions are great too. My son has one and loves it. But I can switch it over to my profile and use it like a normal kindle fire.

I bought a used iPad Mini for $150 off eBay to control our music apps at home and view security system and cameras. No other purposes, works great.
I looked an Fire Tablet but I simply didn’t like the operating system.

The 10" Fire is a good buy and is often discounted. You can add Google Play so you're not stuck with only the apps that Amazon wants you to have.
