Currently have Verizon cell phone service. Moved here from Dallas where it was great. Data is really slow in Lafayette. Would T-Mobile provide faster data service? I checked rootmetrics and it shows that T-Mobile provides the fastest service for this area. Just wanted to check with people that currently use it. TIA

A few years ago, my company made all of us switch to verizon from AT&T. Everyone pitched a fit because Verizon sucked so bad around here. Plus you couldn't talk and text at the same time.

Is that still a thing with Verizon? Seemed very outdated that you couldn't do both, when AT&T had been offering that for years.

Our company switched from Verizon to AT&T.

I don't think we have 5G here which sucks, but it's definitely better than Verizon.

I have Verizon and I agree that it's not especially fast. ATT is most likely better but it's worth it to not have to deal with their bullshite

AT&T does? I haven’t noticed.

I have Verizon and I can text and talk. I had AT&T but it sucked rally bad and I switched but that was years ago. I travelled a lot back then and Verizon had much better coverage when I switched and was much faster for data.

I was with AT&T for a long time. Now I've been with Verizon for at least a decade. AT&T as a company was just awful to deal with, as well. I hear the same things from people now about their customer service.
