I am do an upgrade next month and I'm considering a Google Pixel 2. I currently have an iphone 6 and everyone I know has iPhone so it will be hard to get away from...
What's everyone's flavor of choice? Android, iPhone, Pixel, LG?
ETA: I am with ATT

Get the pixel 2. It's the best user experience on a mobile device. The camera is great. The S9 will come out next month and Samsung will have the best screen, probably a better camera and will debut the snapdragon 845.
I would still get the pixel though as it is the current best phone. You can wait on the S9 and see if you can tolerate Samsungs version of Android. Samsung by far out classes everyone when it comes to hardware and design.
Their software is ugly and not as intuitive as stock Android.
It really just depends on what you value most.

As someone that has both, Android. Pixel 2 specifically. Samsungs look nicer but pixel blows it out of the water in terms of actually using it

iPhone X
I've played with the 8 and couldn't see a difference from my 6s.
iPhone is more popular so if your friends want to air drop you something or using apple pay and getting peoples numbers, ect.
The pixel does look cool though.

I have the Samsung S8 and it is phenomenal. I imagine the 9 will be simply the best out there.

What do you do with your phone?
I don't really use mine for work, so it doesn't have to be sophisticated.

I'm about to move up to either the S8+ or Pixel 2XL (coming from a Nexus 6P). Might go with the S8+ because their specs are pretty damn close, but S8+ is the cheaper option for now.
I may wait until the S9 launch so I can either get the S8 as the price drops more, or see if there's any huge improvements with the S9 worth the extra dough.
Anybody care to comment on the S8+ vs. Pixel 2XL?

Does AT&T even carry the Google phones?

Check out the BlackBerry KEYone. Android Nougat. Latest version has 4GB RAM, and 64GB memory.
Has a qwerty board to get use to if you havent had one. Pretty sharp looking phone.

If I want the S8+, should I just wait until the s9 is officially launched/announced, or do the prices already factor it in leading up to the launch? Is there typically a sharp price drop once pre-orders start for the next iteration? Trying to decide whether it's worth waiting a couple more weeks
