Car Stereo/Apple CarPlay

So I recently purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The dealers website claimed that it had apple CarPlay. My dumbass didn’t check that before I left and after doing some research I found out the following:
My car only has a 5” screen which makes it incompatible with CarPlay.
I contacted the dealer and they are going to see what they can do for me (likely nothing). So in advance of that I’m trying to figure out my options.
I drive 30-40 miles one way each day and use Waze for all of it, which is why I bought the vehicle so I could use CarPlay - that way I’m not looking down at my screen.
Should I buy an aftermarket head unit that is CarPlay compatible? Should I just buy a vent-mount for my phone? Need some advice.

That's probably your best solution. Carplay is available in a lot of aftermarket head units.

That's probably your best option....with a new headunit it would probably support wireless Apple Carplay....at least I'd be searching for that feature.
