I posted this on the O-T Lounge not realizing there was a Tech board. Please forgive me.

Capital One is sending out new debit cards because they switched to Discover. Now, I cannot link my new debit card to Google wallet for tap to pay. I have contacted Capital One and Google several times, back and forth, and they keep saying the problem is with the other.

This also happened with my business debit card a year ago and I figured it was just because it was a business debit not a checking account debit card. It also is not linked to my Google wallet. Any ideas how to fix this?

When I add the card to Google Wallet, it says I need to "finish setup". I tap finish setup, it asks to verify through Capital One Bank app, and then the bank app gets an error every time saying "Sorry, we hit a snag, please try again later".

I cant really help you but I know not all debit cards are approved for e-wallet usage. My parents have a bank where the debit card cannot be used in an e-wallet and it takes the bank enabling the option on their system. It may be completely out of your hands.

Mine worked easily. Maybe try clearing the cache in your app.
