My wife's phone is full and there are 95 GB in the "Other" folder that I can't get rid of. Any suggestions on what to do?

If your current file explorer app doesn't seem to allow it, one possibility is to try a different one.

I have an old LG phone, which had it's own file manager, but at some point I downloaded AsusTek's "File Manager". When I open it, it shows a graph of the memory and there's a button on that opening page titled "Storage Analyzer". If I press it, it will break down the internal storage into various categories: Images, Music, Videos, and a couple of others-- including "Other". If I press "Other", I can browse into numerous subfolders and delete files, which I have found useful in the past.

Regrettably-- possibly because there are possibly 100 or more apps titled "File Manager" on the Play Store (some of which were bogus)-- the AsusTek app I have does not appear to be available any longer. I thought it might still be worth mentioning as I would think other File Manager apps on the Play Store do have a similarly easy way to do this.

As an absolute last resort (if Asus is the only one who made this somewhat easy), if you Google "file manager asustek" you will see that you can download/sideload it from other sources like apkmirror (which I think is regarded as safe) *** though standard warnings/precautions about giving any apps access to your phone and it's contents (especially apps downloaded from anywhere except the officical Play Store) apply***.

Very curiously, looking at apkmirror, it looks like Asus has updated the app fairly recently, so it is a little strange that it's not on the Play Store anymore (as my phone has a version not updated since sometime in 2018).
