Cable provider options

I’m sure most of you are aware but Spectrum cable is having trouble with its contract with Disney which includes ABC, ESPN and some other channels. I’m looking at switching providers. In addition to the Disney negotiations they are also increasing my rate by $37 because I’ve been with them for a year. So it’s not just me throwing a hissy fit.
Does anybody have any suggestions? For reference I am in Texas.
I am currently looking at Direct TV stream, Hulu live, and YouTube. Are there any cool features or notably drawbacks to these services? Like location restrictions, number of tv’s able to stream at a time, no DVR etc.
I have a good number of various screens that I use to stream multiple games at multiple spots in the house which is why spectrum was a good choice for me. I also am a student so would find it beneficial to be able to watch on some devices in remote locations like library, class, restaurants, and other peoples houses.
I appreciate any and all info.

I switched from Cox to Youtube TV about two months ago and just switched to AT&T fiber internet. best decision I made.

My kid is in school in TX and she has ATT Gig Fiber at her apartment for $80 per month (total bill) and YTTV. YTTV currently allows multiple logins from multiple locations, unlike Netflix. Don't see any drawbacks from my current experience w YTTV.

We've had YouTubeTV for years since it was $30/mo. It has more than doubled in price over the years but I enjoy having no contract or cable boxes, satellites etc.
You can have more than one stream and unlimited DVR. No real complaints about the service, channel lineup etc.

I’m looking at YouTube TV, so that I can have it on the main TV at my short term rental property. This will allow me to watch it at my primary residence as well. Not worried about being limited to 3 streams.
Are there any drawbacks to this set up? Like can I put restrictions so that potential renters can’t order stuff or view personal information. Or this just a horrible idea?
I cut the cord last month and looking for something more flexible; since we don’t really watch TV outside of some football. Thanks

Yes

I've been using Hulu to do exactly what you describe for years. Seven TVs, tablets, the lot of it.
At least with Hulu, there's only one way location restrictions will come up: with a "real" TV. It sets your home location when you initially sign up based on an actual TV. If you lend one of your classmates your login info, and they fire it up in their apartment, Hulu will change your home location, and your TV will no longer work. There is no location restriction with computers, or mobile devices.

I'm trying YTTV right now ajd was thinking I'd try Hulu Live but that restriction might make my decision easy, plus it seems YT is better for sports, but I'm looking for suggestions.
YT subscribers, is it worth getting the 4k package for $9.99?

Any provider can tighten the screws whenever they want, with no warning. However, since you can cancel after today and sign up for a new provider tomorrow, it doesn't really matter. We're not buying a car.

I didn't find it worth it

I didn’t see many channels have 4K options

question about yttv
It cost $72 per month, but do you have to add espn for 10 per month?
Also I wanted to add peacock just for the ECU Michigan game, do you have to add Peacock, Fox, SEC NEtwork and all others?
All the same questions with FUBO etc.
How much could that get to?

So with YouTube tv you are limited to 3 streaming devices at a time?

Great to know! So as long as I’m not password sharing I can watch via tablet/computer at school or on trips?
Are there any device restrictions such as only 1-2 devices streaming? I typically have 2/3 TVs streaming at the house and maybe a tablet or computer

The restriction being you can’t share your account with a tv at another location?

Agreed. I'm digging my free trial so far with YT, but I may still try HL. I do travel a lot and would want to watch in different places. Sports is most important.
