Ask that little bastard why he needs 1080p to play Minecraft. It's literally blocks

That would probably be perfect for him. I downgraded to a Ryzen 3 and that brought it within your budget.

The only place I see the b450 Tomahawk readily available is Ebay for @ $200.

So about $750 for the build. I could minus the video card for a total of @550. Then see if i need one for my light video streaming.

Am I crazy for spending this much for non-gaming purposes?

Just earlier in the week I was looking at refurb Dells for @250.

I absolutely do not play games. But I'm tired of buying refurb computers only to have it die after 2yrs.

Can I install Windows 10 with the key from my Dell Optiplex that died?

Thoughts?

Timing and opportunity is the key. I don't game anymore, my son does, I do fart around with 3d renders.

I used to build, don't anymore.
Last year in the months leading up to Black Friday, Walmart went apeshit clearance, knocking old stock down up to 75%. Got a desktop for $350 that listed at 1K, got a laptop (MSI) for around $500 that was going over $1500.

You have to look, and when it happens you have to move fast.

I run CSGO on 1080p, high graphics with no issues.
I mean Csgo can run on a potato that’s not saying much.
