I prefer Sony Z to any of the OLEDs. I've sat the A1E side by side with the Z9 and you can just see so much more detail in the Z. When you pause the image you really can point out the differences in the two pictures.

I agree. I went with the OLED as I am in the process of building an audio/theater room, and will have a projector, so the OLED will just be in the den for cable TV..a 55" to replace the Pioneer Elite that was taken out by lightning.
I figured I would spend the $2k difference between the Z and OLED on the projector.
Edit---it looks like Sony recently lowered their prices!! The 65" Z and 65" OLED are both $4500. If you are in the market for a high end 65", the Z is hard to beat.

My Samsung has a better picture than my Sony. The Samsung has lines going across it after 3 years. The Sony still looks as good as it did in the store.

Coming from the Pioneer Elite you have to go OLED. I don't even try to talk people out of it. If you love the Elite, which who doesn't, and that's what you are used to then the OLED is the way to go.
