Depends greatly on what you are looking for. Do you want active noise cancelling, do you want them for exercise, do you care about audio quality, a budget, etc.?

All of this is important info for anyone to give you good advice.

When I was looking for a noise cancelling pair for travel about a year ago it was a toss up between the Bose QC 35 and the Sony WH-1000X3.

I went with the Sony's and have not regretted my choice. I'd probably say the exact same thing if I went with the Bose though.

For working out I use a cheap pair of these and they do the job adequately enough.
