I was more talking about the perceived knock to Ubiquiti reliability.

Yeah I've got a few of them installed in some pretty rough places, most notably in a couple non-insulated non-AC'd metal buildings. Basically outdoors except no rain. They've been through several summers of 100+ degree heat and 100% humidity, and they couldn't care less. They just keep frickin workin.

There's also a ubnt poe switch in the same environment, except inside a cab with fans so it gets a little bit of cooling. Same deal, years of summer heat and humidity and never a hitch.

I just typed up a really long rant about my experience using Ubiquiti in the Enterprise but then I realized it's like arguing about politics or religion.

I actually saved it though because it seemed wasteful not to.
