have an LG Oled and the sound just doesn't carry well enough in the room. also have an older Sony soundbar, but i find it doesn't work that well either. seems like i am constantly lowering and raising the sound depending on the situation. any recommendations besides installing a full on surround system?

also i do have 2 ceiling speakers running off of a Sonos connect amp. is a sonos soundbar then a no brainer?

I don’t think so. But if the in ceilings are positioned behind the seating area it’s a good but expensive option.

How tall are the ceilings ?

I remember when you could go buy a TV and not have to spend months configuring picture/sound quality after you got it home.
