Hey guys, I’m trying my hand at doing some video editing, and I need some audio. What’s y’all suggestions on the best place to download songs to add to these videos? I’ll be using Open shot on a windows computer if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance

Youtube is probably easiest. There are numerous browser plugins and other tools that can rip mp3 from youtube.

Kork has a good idea if you are just wanting to play around like you say. However, if you are wanting to publish it or play it anywhere, you will really want to either purchase a streaming license or go royalty free. There are some sites like audiojungle.net that have a ton of royalty free stuff. You can download the previews with watermarks in them and if you like them, you can buy a license or the subscription is very reasonable.
Also, check out Davinci Resolve. They have a free version of their video editing software and I found it works excellent compared to other free editors. No matter what you use, make sure you are using a really good GPU.
