I have two JBL's. I like them because if you have more than one JBL, you can download their app and connect the two speakers, then control them from your phone so the same music is playing out of both of them.

eBay has $10 off coupons, so I ordered a brand new UE Boom 2 for $80 all in. Just need something for the backyard, so I'm glad this thread popped up.

Headphones
Listen to whatever material you want to at whatever volume you choose, but don't force others to do so as well. I'm noticing more and more people hiking or biking in the mountains with speakers attached to their packs blaring at high volume. Even if I do happen to like their choice of music, I go to the mountains to get away from that crap.
Then again, headphones aren't always the answer either. I use a Timber Bell on my MTB and it's been great to alert other traffic on the trail .... unless they can't hear it because their headphones are in.

Every fricken year we have these threads and every fricken year I say more or less what you say. I don't wanna hear your crappy music, I wanna hear the waves, the kids playing, and the wind. I get enough of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Florida Georgia Line, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, away from the beach.

Ive been having a UE Boom for 5+ years and mine still lasts all day. Use it often around the house. Well worth the money
