Looking for a desktop for the house and have settled on an all in one. What's best recommendations for under $1000. Preferably a 24" or larger. Hopefully can snag one on black Friday or cyber Monday.

I would never buy an all in one.

Something goes bad and you replace the whole thing.

I'd avoid an all in one for reasons already posted. You can get a really nice laptop for that price.

With parts and labor, don't you basically have to replace a laptop too?

ETA: Meaning it's cheaper to just replace the laptop, so you have the same issue as an all in one.

Yeah. That is why I have a desktop and a monitor.

I personally have no need for a laptop.

Definitely the cheapest option.

I have a laptop because in the past, I used it for work so it was easier to carry back and forth. No point in wasting money on a new computer until I have to.

For work I have a laptop and surface pro. But needed something new for the family to use. Ended up scooping this up:

Also grabbed an additional 24" HP monitor for under a 100 to pair with it.
