Beats Fit Pro, question re: Bluetooth connectivity to TV for users that have them

I just bought a pair of these the other day, primarily to use on runs, and for that they’ve worked well.
However, I’d like to be able to connect these to my lg oled for late night viewing when I don’t want to use my over ear BT headphones. So they connect to the tv without issue, and while the sound quality isn’t great, there appears to be very little latency, which was my biggest concern initially, HOWEVER, I’m unable to control the volume of the earbuds with the tv remote. Whenever I connect them to the tv, the sound level just stays at a permanent fixed level, no matter how much I press volume controls up or down. I’m wondering why this is? Because I have a cheap pair of enacfire wireless earbuds that connects to the tv through BT, and I’m able to control their volume with the tv remote no problem.
Wondering if this is just a codec issue between devices, or if something is wrong with them?

I have the same issue with my LG TV. I can't control the volume with the remote, but I can control the volume using the buttons on the earbuds.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing too. I think it does have to do with the Bluetooth codecs between the tv & beats. The more headphones/earbuds I try the more I realize you’re always having to sacrifice something. Be it SQ, convenience or comfort. I’ve yet to find something that’s perfect across the board.
