Not quite but a lot does come from China. other Asian areas now being shut downis having an affect.

I’d pay/subsidize a USA made iPhone that cost an extra 200$ or so.
It will probably be more unless Apple automatizes the entire production from start to packaging. Those Chinese work 7 days a week, making about ~$3 an hour, with no benefits. Good luck getting any American to accept those terms.
All I want is for American businesses to abandon China. Move your manufacturing to Mexico, India, Vietnam...anywhere BUT China.

Once corporations learn we're not buying their Chinese stuff, and pull out, that's how you force China to do something about their abysmal health problems.
Hopefully, companies wake up and realize they should diversify their supply chains more. I’m skeptical though, since the consumer wants cheap prices and companies want maximum profit.

The ignorance among most of you...
They could possibly bring their manufacturing of A chips to the USA, but they're at the mercy of wherever Samsung wants to manufacture the display, RAM and storage. The amount of money to move this all internally would be beyond costly

Very true. I think almost every model of iPhone is a Samsung display, so yep.

Well, they'd have to make small moves over a long period of time. I'm not realistically expecting Apple to instantly make the iPhone 12 whatever in the USA this year.
However, I do want to move big companies (like Apple) away from China, even if that's to Taiwan or Japan or Mexico. China is not our friend and this has proven to all of us how reliant we are on them. We might as well make small moves to get off the China-tit.
I just read that they re-opened Wuhan yesterday because ALL of China had 0 new cases. Yea, o-fricking-k. So an entire country of 1.4+ billion people had 0 new cases.
Yep. I believe that.
They'll soon realize that the Gov't needs an influx of cash so they'll soon re-open those wet markets too and the cycle of retardation begins to repeat.
frick them and everything about them.
