Audio Delay from TV to Ceiling

Had A/V company install a bunch of stuff during my build. I finally got around to do some testing today and noticed there is a audio delay from the tv (samsung frame) to the ceiling speakers. All of the wires run about 25ft to the media closet and up to the speakers. They used one of the cat6 wires as an audio balun to the receiver. Before I call them up, is there a quick fix or should I expect the worse? I would like to have football games with audio from the speakers.

What kind of receiver do you have? Some will do a self test with a microphone. I would think it would correct any delays as well.

Are you using both the TV speaker and additional speakers that are run through and powered by a receiver?
Most set ups will shut off the TV speaker and use a center channel connected to the receiver.
