I have the “up to 1 Gig” ATT fiber which will provide up to 1 Gig but routinely delivers 450-550 MB. It very rarely has issues and I have had only one fried router in several years of service. They actually replaced it within 34 hours of the issue. Happy customer here.

Hardwired or over wifi? Because you should be getting far faster than that hard wired.

Had AT&T 1G Fiber for a few years at my previous home. Like others, almost always ran between 400-700Mbps. Not once did I ever get over 850Mbps. Intro price was great so I didn't bother switching and we moved out before they tried raising our price. If AT&T isn't your only option, I have been super happy with Cox. 500Mbps plan with their panoramic wifi and it has been great. Very consistently getting over 500Mbps, and cheaper too.
