So my internet sucks with them. I wanna get another router but I think it has to be there router. What do I do? They are coming out to my house tomorrow to look at it but it works better for a while and then starts sucking.

do you have fiber or dsl? I dont know about fiber, but when I had their dsl i didn't have to use their router and strongly advise anyone not to use their garbage. if you have dsl, absolutely get a separate modem and router, not a combo. Get a router than is compatible with DD-WRT firmware or some other quality 3rd party firmware.

you can set their gateway into cascade mode which allows you to use your own router.

Why does your internet suck with them? What issues are you having? Is it just the wifi?

If you're leasing their modem / router and the guy doesn't replace it then insist on new equipment.

When dealing with DSL "the "highest they have" depends on your address.

It could be one thing on your street and something different on the next street.

So what speed are you paying for?
