I have Vexus. All of their fiber in my neighborhood was all constructed by them. Not sure if they end up in the AT&T central office in Hammond, which is common for some carriers. I want to say when they were NTS Communications they did have their outside plant come from the Hammond AT&T central office.
As far as their reliability, I've only had one instance after Ida hit where it went down for a few hours. It didn't go down during Ida as I had internet access once the power came back up. This is having it for over two years now and haven't had any reason to go to any other provider.

What part of Hammond are you in? I just got vexus in Whitmar, north of SLU. But I'm not back in my house yet to really test it.

I'm actually in Ponchatoula. Speeds are fantastic. I can stream 4K HDR video on my living room TV while my daughter is watching YouTube and my son playing some game online without any issue. Even better as Vexus gives you the same upload and download speeds, uploading video or large amounts of files doesn't take nearly as long. I take full advantage of that with uploading media like raw photos and video to cloud storage for editing later.
