Asus laptop battery replacement

My Asus laptop battery is slowly but surely dying. Anyone replace a battery themselves in one of these? Pretty much will only work while connected to power source. Unplug it and it immediately dies. Anyone have any advice on replacing the battery?

Unfortunately i have been too lasy to replace my ROG cause you gotta take the keyboard out and shite…its been serving as a glorified desktop on my desk for several years

Mine is a ROG as well. I'm just trying now to figure out which one I need to buy. Way too many options on amazon.

You have model/part number for original battery? Could probably pull info from asus site for equivalents. Could even go ahead and pull the battery and tack it back together to use until new battery comes in
