Apps on iPad Air (4th Gen) keep crashing

I am up to date on IOS and the updates on the apps affected (YouTube and Brave browser) are current as well. I have deleted and re-loaded the related apps, did a forced re-boot of the iPad. Still occurs. I have never had these kind of issues. It has always been a very stable platform. Anyone else ever experience this?
