Thinking about updating my 1st gen Fire TV to an Android Box or a Nvidia Shield Pro.
Does anybody have any experience with these? How user friendly are they?

I have a shield in two locations. They work great for the most part, but I have had issues with Hulu when my power goes out. I only use Hulu at one location and it makes me want to cancel Hulu everytime it happens.

Been using Nvidia shield for many years,
Use kodi an IPTV mostly. Netflex , HBO Max, and Prime.
All the normal apps run seamlessly.
Use a MECOOL KM2 PLUS box for travel. Its okay but not on Nvidia shield level IMHO.

Just got a Shield TV and really like it. The picture is substantially better with the AI upscaling than my Chromecast. Interface is nice and I like that it is a full android device with app store access.

I have used Roku ultra and fire sticks in the past. A few years ago I got a shield pro and it is by far the best option. They are as easy to use as other streaming devices.
