Anyone gotten the email from Google about moving music library to YT music yet?

I see the upped the total number of FREE personal songs from 50,000 to 100,000.
This is a bit of sleight of hand however since Google 'matches' albums you have they already offer via streaming and so they don't truly upload every track.
I anticipate a major clusterfrick regradless. Already seeing it may take 'days' for larger libraries to move over.
My biggest gripe is the 'cast' icon in YT music doesn't see my sonos speakers like Google music cast. That's a PiTA because you're forced to go through the Sonos app every time to find music on the YT music service and the controller is very limited in accessing music.
So long Google music.

I fricking hate this, so they match songs they stream and won't upload them at all?
So stuff you own you have to pay for to listen to?
Good thing a lot of mine are bootleg concerts but I have A LOT of other stuff

if it can identify the album you're uploading (dark side of the moon) your copy wont get uploaded, it will just say it did but you're actually listening to google's version.

no, but if you are uploading FLAC its entirely possible your files are higher quality than google's. i think google encodes everything at 320 anyway but at least you know the source.

if it can't figure out what you've got it will upload it so all the stuff you have thats misnamed or it cant match it will upload and distribute your files.
