Anyone get the FireTV Gen 3 yet

My lord this thing is trash
I got it with singing up for DTVnow
Ive already plugged my Gen 2 back in. I'll order the ethernet adapter which should improve streaming quality but for now the Gen 2 runs much better.
No usb port so ill probably order a splitter as well. Was excited for this version bc the HDR support but so far very let down.

Mine has been working fine for a month or so now. Barely notice the difference between this one and the bigger gen 2.

Mine has been working fine since they came out. I have a basement TV with no access to ethernet.

I just can't do the OS anymore. Netflix is starting to be just as bad. I like the pinwheel approach but do we really need 40 different categories?

No. I probably will eventually but it’s got good signal and I get like 100mb+ with Cox

I notice a pretty big difference with picture quality running Vue and Netflix, and its about five feet from my router.
If anything its not a gen 2 fire tv upgrade but more of an upgrade on the fire stick.

amazon really screwed the pooch on this one. i have gen 1 and 2 at home. fantastic devices i still use regularly. it seems this new firetv is barely better than a stick. if i end up getting the 3rd gen it will be for my tiny kitchen tv .
