If so where did you buy your replacement screen? How difficult was it? Thanks!

I had apple care. Paid a hundred and they gave me a new phone.
Honestly the most annoying part was signing back into my apps.

The aftermarket hasn’t really found replacement screens for the X, as the oled panels are too expensive and incredibly hard too manufacture. Honestly, you are probably looking at the $279 without AppleCare for the replacement display.

I did it with my 6s. I know it’s not iPhone X but I would assume the x has more to worry about. I’m pretty handy but it ended up being a bit of a pain and there are small sensitive parts that are easy to damage and hard to get back into place because they are so small. Ended up messing up proximity sensor even after having to go back in with new part because I damaged the original camera strip getting it out. My advice is to get someone that does it all the time and would be responsible for the small parts to do it. If they break something coming out they will have to change it for you.
