Anybody here have any experience with the Anki app?

It’s a SRS app that lots of people use to learn languages and study for med school etc. The app is super customizable but terribly unfriendly to use. My main question is how the desktop version interfaces with the mobile app. Can’t seem to change deck settings on the mobile app
